Beginning as a “wannabe,” you’ll gradually make connections on the street, hoping to prove yourself a good earner and become as “associate.” Remain loyal, keep finding good scores, and do the right thing – pay the tribute demanded of you by the organization – and one day you may get “straightened out.” There are only about 500 “made men” in each instance at any given time.
What runs the real mob – what makes them tick – what motivates them to risk getting “pinched,” or even “whacked” over a score? MONEY. And that’s what makes Vida Nostra work too. Real money.
